One World Café has the goal to eliminate world hunger through community building. They do this by endeavoring to eliminate waste in the food industry, serve all organic food that is free of pesticides and antibiotics, support local organic farmers, pay employees a living wage and offer a hand up volunteer training program, rather than a hand out. They believe in strengthening and preserving our communities, and their indigenous foods (from their website). everybody eats

Daybreak Community made the decision to preserve a significant amount of the land in Daybreak for parks and public open space, to give all residents (not just school-age children) ongoing educational opportunities and to build the entire community in a way that sustains both quality of life and the health of the environment (from their website). daybreak
